ABOUT Q QUILT

This is quarantine quilt, a project done by Issybella Lang in her final semester at Hofstra University, where she studied design and history. When the Coronavirus Pandemic derailed her senior year, Issybella saw it as an opportunity and sent out a survey to people to understand their experience in quarantine. She turned the survey results into design squares, which formed a quilt-like design when put together. 

Of the project, Issybella said,

"Quarantine affects everyone differently, and while there are overlapping experiences, everyone has a different perception of that experience. Designing these experiences has given me a better understanding of my own perception of quarantine and social distancing, and of how I approach design."
